Postgraduate Students
Wee Science is part of the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences, which hosts a number of taught master’s programs that are relevant for students interested in development. This includes MSc’s in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology, Psychology of Language, Developmental Linguistics and Cognition in Science and Society. Each department within the school also hosts students pursuing MSc’s by Research. Further details on postgraduate programs can be found below.

Current MSc students who are interested in carrying out a developmental research project as part of their course are encouraged to get in touch with potential supervisors as early in the year as possible.
Finally, we are always happy to hear from smart and motivated potential PhD students, and funding is available for a number of studentships each year. We encourage you to get in contact with the PPLS Postgraduate Office or with potential supervisors.
Undergraduate Students
If you are interested in getting experience as a volunteer research assistant, please get in touch with a potential supervisor amongst our staff.
If you are interested in taking part in a summer research scheme (such as the Carnegie Vacation scheme or the British Psychological Society scheme), please get in touch with a potential supervisor early in semester two (as the deadlines for these schemes fall in early March).
